Kalingalinga on the Ball League Performance Update
We have played 11 games this season so far; in less than 7 games we will reach our half season. This season has been so special for us, considering our past season, which has been compromised with so much wins during our first 10 games or more. Last season we played 16 games without defeat with only two draws, however, this season from 11 games played so far we have only won 4, drawn 6 and lost one which on average isn’t bad.
I personally felt that the draws were mainly attributed to lack of mental strength amongst the boys; the team recorded all six draws consecutively. Hence there was need to do a lot of team building activities during practice that blends in: team work, coordination, and leadership. By so doing, the team seems to be going back to its winning ways. We have won our last two games by a goal to nil in both games respectively, which clearly shows the levels of communication, team work and determination are prevailing in the team.
In as much as we would want to win the league, it is our duty to promote role models in and outside the pitch through our team building activities.
