WHAT
WE DO
We are a small international sport for development charity using the power of football to advance education, healthcare and enterprise in deprived communities of Africa.
WHAT WE DO.
Simply put, we change lives through football.

OUR ACTIVITIES.
A COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB.
We operate a community football programme consisting of 6 teams (4 boys/2 girls) and community sessions that all can attend.
COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTRE.
In 2022, we shipped a container full of donations and equipment to Kalingalinga. Kit and equipment was distributed while the container was converted into a community learning centre.
SOLAR POWERED WATER KIOSK.
In 2020 we fundraised circa £10k to fund the installation of a solar-panneled water pump and kiosk for the community Kalingalinga. There was no access to fresh water in the community previously.
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND TOURNAMENTS.
We run a number of events and tournaments which focus upon the importance of health and hygiene. To date this has included tournaments stressing the importance of santiation. During COVID-19 we distributed soap and face masks throughout the community.
OUTREACH PROGRAMMES.
In addition to our Community Football programme in Kalingalinga, we also deliver educational/health focused football sessions with a range of partners, including HIV/AIDS support groups, orphanges and in rural communities.
EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS.
Via our Elena Sarra Remembrace Fund, support a mix of both educational and entrepreneurial scholarships to support members of our programmes. This includes providing fees to help members complete their basic education and also funding vocational training courses which support business opportunities.

OUR
IMPACT
We work to ensure our work has as positive an impact upon the lives of our beneficaries as possible.
MORE THAN A PITCH.
In 2020, with the support of funding from the Scottish Government, we undertook a thorough evaluation of our work within Zambia. The findings showed how beneficiaries valued our work.

The findings showed that participants appreciated a range of factors that extended well beyond just simply playing football. The image below highlights some of the key themes to emerge through interviews.
CASE
STUDIES.
Meet Mabvuto. Mabvuto was born in Lusaka, Zambia, and grew up in Kalingalinga. We were proud to financially support his education, enabling him to learn to read and write and stay away from some of the challenges like drinking and smoking. He won Pupil of the Year Award in Year 11!
THE UN'S SDGs.
Our work meets 11 of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
